Allergens
What allergens do your macaroons contain?
All of our macaroons contain almonds and eggs. The buttercream based macaroons contain butter. The chocolate ganache based macaroons contain soya in the chocolate.
We have some flavours containing pistachios, peanuts and coconuts. Although we take every precaution to keep ingredients and macaroon flavours separate including a full clean down between producing flavours we cannot guarantee that there won’t be traces of these nuts.
None of our macaroon flavours contain any gluten or gelatine.
You can see the full ingredients list for each flavour on the products page under the description heading.
Halal Macaroons
Are your macaroons halal?
Some of our flavours are halal, these can be found in the Halal macaroons gift box.
None of our macaroons contain gelatine. Macaroons with certain fruit compounds contain trace amounts of denatured ethanol and although they do not cause intoxication are classified as containing alcohol, so these flavours are not halal and are not included in the halal gift box.
You can see the full ingredients list for each flavour on the products page under the description heading.
Dairy-Free Macaroons
Do you make dairy-free macaroons?
Our dairy-free macaroons are available in our dairy-free macaroon gift box. We use non-dairy butter substitute to make delicious dairy-free fillings in a range of flavours.
You can see the full ingredients list for each flavour on the products page under the description heading.
Gluten-Free Macaroons
Do you make gluten-free macaroons?
All of our macaroons are completely gluten-free. We are very strict about maintaining a gluten-free environment in our production kitchen. We don’t allow any gluten containing ingredients into the kitchen at all so you can rest assured that if you or a loved one have a gluten intolerance then Miss Macaroon’s gluten-free macaroons will be exactly that!
You can see the full ingredients list for each flavour on the products page under the description heading.
Soya-Free Macaroons
Do you make soya-free macaroons?
All of our chocolate ganache based macaroons contain soya lecithin in the chocolate. To avoid soya please choose buttercream based or dairy-free macaroons.
Food Colouring
Do your macaroons contain food colouring?
We use intense powder food colourings. All of our food colourings are suitable to be eaten. Should you wish to avoid food colouring all together you can choose cream macaroons or chocolate macaroons.
You can see the full ingredients list for each flavour on the products page under the description heading.
Shelf Life and Storage
How long do the macaroons last?
Our macaroons last for seven days at ambient temperature. You can put them in the fridge for upto six weeks, but do make sure to take them out 20 minutes before eating to get back to the right texture.
