Diwali Sweets FAQs

What are Diwali sweets called? Traditional Diwali sweets are often called mithai. We've created a gluten-free alternative using handmade French macarons.

Are your Diwali macarons gluten-free? Yes, every flavour is gluten-free and gelatine-free.

Are your Diwali gift sweets nut-free or egg-free? No, every flavour contains egg white and almonds. The pistachio flavour contains 100% pistachio paste. All flavours may contain brazil nuts, hazelnuts, cashews and walnuts.

When do I need to order by? Before 2pm on 4th of November 2026 for guaranteed Diwali delivery.

Do you deliver UK-wide? Yes. Choose your delivery date at checkout.

Delivery Options For Macaroon Gifts

You can choose to specify a delivery date Tuesday to Friday by selecting ‘Calendar date delivery’ in the cart and inputting the delivery date during the check out process. This is sent on a next day service by Royal Mail. We do not deliver to the Channel Islands, Guernsey, the Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands or the Scottish Highlands.

Macaroon Gift deliveries

As most of our orders are gifts at Miss Macaroon we do not include invoices in any of our packages as standard. You can include a gift message by selecting gift card during the checkout process if you’re ordering a single box or you can choose our bespoke branded gift card option on orders of over 25 gift boxes or hampers.

What allergens do your macaroons contain?

All of our macaroons, contain almonds and eggs. The buttercream based macaroons contain butter. The chocolate ganache based macaroons contain soya in the chocolate.

We have some flavours containing pistachios. Our suppliers handle hazelnuts, walnuts, cashew nuts and Brazil nuts. Although we take every precaution to keep ingredients and macaroon flavours separate including a full clean down between producing flavours we cannot guarantee that there won’t be traces of these nuts.

None of our macaroon flavours contain any gluten or gelatine.

How long do the macaroons last?

Our macaroons last for seven days at ambient temperature. You can put them in the fridge for up to six weeks, but do make sure to take them out 20 minutes before eating to get back to the right texture.
