I bought three boxes of these gluten and dairy free macaroons as gifts for people I did not know that well as a thank you gift. I felt that these were the safest option just in case they had any allergies or dietary needs that I was not aware of. They were over the moon with both the taste and the presentation! The gift boxes are brightly coloured and give details of the social impact the company has too so they felt that they were being given a thoughtful gift, not just in terms of their dietary requirements but in terms of the local community. Even without the social impact factor I think that buying local and independent is really important at the moment which is another reason I chose Miss Macaroon.
