Situated in the outstanding Resorts World entertainment complex, Miss Macaroon are delighted to open a new storefront on Thursday 5th August. As a developing social enterprise, Miss Macaroon are excited to extend our mission (and macaroons) into the thriving shopping centre.

Resorts World Birmingham

Resorts World Birmingham was officially opened in October 2015, becoming the first Resorts World in Europe. It was built beside the National Exhibition Centre at Pendigo Way and encompasses a luxury hotel and spa, a casino, an IMAX Cineworld complex, fifty stores, and various restaurants. Over the last six years, it has become a top-tier weekend destination for those based in the West Midlands and beyond!

Resorts World has previously been home to Miss Macaroon’ Tuktuk and ice-cream trike, allowing visitors to the entertainment complex to taste our luxury-made macaroon and ice-cream combinations. Now, we are incredibly excited to be launching a full storefront with a wide range of products and seating. This storefront can be found across from the Next outlet, and you can find Resorts World at Pendigo Way, Marston Green, Birmingham B40 1PU.

After our launch on Thursday 5th August, the opening times of our Resorts World store are:

• Tuesday: 11am – 5.30pm

• Saturday: 11am – 5.30pm

Products at Resorts World Birmingham

Alongside selling our luxury-made macaroons at Resorts World Birmingham, we will also be selling a range of social enterprise hot and cold drinks! This includes Prosecco, craft beer and gin made by companies who are creating a kinder world. Customers can sit in and enjoy our range of social enterprise products or take gifts and hampers away with them.

The Resorts World complex have been incredibly generous in the support they have given Miss Macaroon as we move to open our new storefront. Like us, Resorts World believes in supporting the local community and so they have been a huge help as we have prepared to open. Offering their aid and advice to clear out the retail unit, we could not be prouder to be working with Resorts World to extend our social enterprise mission.

Miss Macaroon aims to support local unemployed individuals (aged 18-35 years old) with the MacsMAD scheme. The ten-week course of the MacsMAD training programme is tailored to the individual needs of each trainee group. It is designed for young people aged 18-35 to help them address and overcome their personal barriers and get them ready for long-term employment.
