Miss Macaroon awarded funding as the company reaches its 10th birthday.
In honour Miss Macaroon’s work as a Social Enterprise over the past decade, the company has been awarded a £150,000 grant by John Lewis Partnership’s Investment Fund. The grant will be used to pay the wages of recent and future MacsMAD (Macaroons that make a Difference) graduates. The scheme assists disadvantaged young people, from 18-35 years old, in raising their confidence and gaining skills necessary for the world of work.
