The feature coincides with Miss Macaroon’s 10th birthday celebrations.
In 2011, Miss Macaroon started out with nothing more than a £500 start-up cost and a small kitchen space donated by University College Birmingham. Over the past decade, company founder Rosie Ginday MBE has transformed the business into one of Birmingham’s premier Social Enterprises.
To celebrate this milestone, BBC Midlands Today shot a spotlight piece at Miss Macaroon HQ, covering the company’s overall progression, its MacsMAD (Macaroons that Make a Difference) scheme, and its recent Kickstart trainees.
