MISS MACAROON IN ‘BUSINESS DAILY’

Miss Macaroon receives funding boost from John Lewis Partnership’s Community Investment Fund.

The £150,000 grant arrives in time for Miss Macaroon’s 10th birthday celebrations. The business – founded by CEO Rosie Ginday MBE in 2011 – prides itself on its decade-long work as a Social Enterprise. The financial boost will be used to pay the wages of recent and future graduates of the MacsMAD (Macaroons that Make a Difference) scheme – a programme aimed at helping disadvantaged young people, aged 18-35 years old, gain valuable experience to help them enter the world of work.

Plans for the 10th birthday include a grand opening of Miss Macaroon’s newly refurbished bar, as well as the launch of new vegan macaroons and product collaborations.
