It’s no secret that macaroons come in a wide variety of flavours. Valentine’s Day
When one thinks of Valentine’s Day their head is no doubt filled with images of flowers, chocolates, and pink and red hearts all over the place. Being such colourful, sweet pastries macaroons are perfect gifts for Valentine’s Day already but we still like to be thematic.
Pink strawberry and raspberry macaroons make for excellent treats, or perhaps you’d like to get a little creative and give your partner something rose flavoured in place of a physical rose? However we don’t just like to play around with flavours at Miss Macaroon. When Valentine’s Day rolls around we produce lovely heart shaped shells to really get people into the spirit or love.
Easter
We like to think just about any flavour can work with an Easter theme. Sure it’s all about chocolate eggs but those eggs are decorated so colourfully just about any macaroon would fit right in. Of course, you still can’t go wrong with the classic chocolate!
Once again, we enjoy really getting into the spirit of the holiday with wonderful mixed colour, egg shaped shells to really give off that Easter egg vibe. We also produce shells with adorable bunny ears and print pictures of your little one for something that might just be too cute to eat.
Christmas
When Christmas comes around it’s all about the lights, the decorations, the presents, the atmosphere of pure wholesome warmth amidst the freezing temperatures. For such a special occasion we can’t help but go all out with a full collection of Christmas themed flavours. Mint chocolate, irish cream, gingerbread and even minced pie! These are just a few of the flavours we offer in our annual Christmas Collection and we like to think they’re just perfect for the time of year.
Diwali
The Festival of Lights celebrated by Sikhs, Hindus and Jains the world over may not have an exact date the festivities fall on every year but it is always breathtakingly beautiful. Seeing those lights is sure to warm the heart of anyone, whether they know what the celebration is for or not.
Given its place right near the end of the year we think some lightly spiced flavours will give everyone the same warm feeling those bright lights give. Spiced apple is a lovely mix of sweet and spicy that’s sure to warm you on those chilly nights. Likewise we offer mango and cinnamon for that extra little kick.
Halloween
The spookiest of all holidays is also one of the sweetest with a heavy focus on chocolate and candy giving the perfect excuse to pig out on something sugary. Pumpkin spice flavouring is all the rage during those cold, late autumn days and we think it goes perfectly on a macaroon.
Halloween more than any other holiday is about decoration. Rather than focus on flavours, why not sign up for a macaroon painting session and decorate your own shells with a jack-o’-lantern styled face? It’s fun, tasty and creative!
