Heartless thieves break into much-loved social enterprise Miss Macaroon during lockdown
The Great Western Arcade boutique reinvests all of its profits into training and employing long term unemployed young people in retail and catering and people have reacted with sadness that thieves would target a company doing so much good in the city.
A popular Birmingham patisserie has been targeted by thieves during lockdown.
Miss Macaroon in the Great Western Arcade has temporarily closed due to the coronavirus pandemic however, staff are still delivering their macaroons across the city.
The company reinvests all of its profits into training and employing long term unemployed young people in retail and catering. They were stunned to discover on the morning of Saturday May 9 that thieves had smashed their window, broke in and stole electrical items.
