Miss Macaroon is the Perfect Gift for Hanukkah

What is Hanukkah?
One of the most important holidays in the Jewish calendar is Hanukkah. The holiday, also known as Chunukah, commemorates Jerusalem’s liberation. After the Jewish war and the temple’s looting, Judaism had been declared illegal. Jews rose up in rebellion, successfully reclaiming their unique second temple, which was later rededicated.
Hannukah lasts for eight nights and begins on the 25th day of Kislev, often known as the month of dreams in the Gregorian calendar. This might happen at any point between late November and late December.
What are the traditions?
It is customary to burn candles each evening during Hanukkah, which is also known as the festival of lights. A menorah, a unique candle holder, is used to hold these candles. There are nine candleholders on this, the tallest and first one being used to light the others. By the festival’s seventh night, all eight candles plus the unique tall candle will be lit. In order for the Jews to communicate, the candle holder is typically put in the window that faces the street. Gelt, which are chocolate coins with gold foil coverings, is what parents typically give their kids.
People typically use blues, golds, silvers, and whites while decorating for Hanukkah in addition to the menorah. For the enjoyment of both youngsters and adults, bowls can contain Dreidels or blue and white glass globes. The Hebrew letters Nun, Gimmel, Hey, and Shin are used to identify the four-sided toys known as dreidels. As part of a game of chance, the toys are spun like a top. As an alternative, you may create a star of David from a string of white lights and hang it on the wall if you want to add some sparkle to your decor.
What can you gift for Hannukah?
Every night, families exchange gifts, and our personalised macarons can make the ideal Hanukkah gift. You can customise them by adding a star of David, your preferred flavour, or a colour that goes with your theme. Everyone can find a sweet delight that they like, including dark chocolate, mango, passion fruit, strawberry, raspberry, pistachio, lemon, Tonka bean, and salted caramel.
The custom of giving gifts has evolved since Christmas, and the following list includes some ideas for each of the eight days.

Why are macarons the perfect gift for Hanukkah?
One reason a macaron is particularly appropriate is that it can be filled with butter cream; People consume a lot of dairy products during Hanukkah and this is to honour Judith, one of the Jewish heroes. Famously, she slew Holofernes, a Jewish opponent who had attacked them. Together, Judith and Holofernes consumed cheese, which made him thirsty. She then coaxed him to consume wine, and when he became too inebriated to resist, she severed his head!
Therefore, the butter cream in our macarons makes for a delicious gift to honour Judith.
Are macarons kosher?
Many foods are forbidden in Jewish tradition. The term “kosher” refers to food that is fit and proper, and it forbids a number of ingredients and cooking methods. It could be said that Hanukkah was almost created for macarons: they don’t contain flour, other cereals, or raising agents, which are forbidden according to Jewish custom, and they are created from egg whites and sugar. The fact that macarons are kosher is another reason for giving them as Hanukkah gifts.
Do macarons contain gelatine?
It would be challenging to add gelatine on the Jewish food list because it is another substance that is derived from animals. All of our macarons are gelatin-free, making them the perfect Hanukkah treat.
