MISS MACAROON IN ‘INSIDER MEDIA’

Birmingham enterprise Miss Macaroon secures £150,000 grant from John Lewis Partnership’s Community Investment Fund.

Miss Macaroon in the last decade has helped 82 young people, aged 18-35 years old, develop skills and experience to assist them in the world of work. As a recognition of their employment schemes, the company has been awarded a total of £150,000 to use in their work as a Social Enterprise. The grant will be used to pay the wages of recent MacsMAD (Macaroons that make a Difference) graduates and support a further 20 graduates as they continue to overcome barriers, such as anxiety and depression.
