Gifting at any time of the year can be a rewarding experience for all parties involved. Whether that be a physical gift or a small gesture, there’s no greater feeling than surprising someone with something special.
How Important is Gifting?
Psychologists suggest that it’s often for the giver, rather than the recipient, who receives the greatest psychological gains from the act of gift-giving. Gift giving can also be a great way to:
- express your love for someone else
- to make someone feel special
- to show your appreciation for another
- to let people know you care about them
- to subtly influence change
- to ease any guilt you may be feeling
Giving a gift has been noted by many as being a very important part of human interaction. The act of giving can help people form stronger emotional connections with others. Gifting can also provide the giver with a boost of endorphins, reduce stress, and decrease blood pressure levels.
Benefits of Having Strong Client Relationships
By fostering better relationships between clients and businesses, a positive impact can be made. In doing so, the business can create a deeper connection and begin to understand their requirements more clearly. Companies with stronger client relationships create a sense of mutual understanding, resulting in stronger brand loyalty.
Businesses improve client relationships by;
- gathering hard and soft information
- improving their onboarding process
- being more proactive than reactive
- being empathetic rather than defensive
- establishing structure around communication
- sharing concerns early
- embracing small talk
- establishing quarterly business reviews
Benefits of Having Strong Client Relationships
Christmas is the period of the year when we all enjoy snuggling around a strong fire, sheltering from the icy days of December whilst enjoying the festivities it brings. But Christmas is more than a date you cross off your calendar. It’s about the hidden meanings which teach us life lessons, and the religious stories that backdrop its very existence.
Faith ultimately is what may have kept the event alive throughout the years by keeping the traditions alive and ensuring it remained a fundamental part of our yearly lives. Whether you’re a believer of Christ or not, Christmas has become an annual event that caters to nearly all walks of life.
However, the Christmas we know today has materialised through various traditions. Such as the use of Christmas cards which were invented in 1843 by Henry Cole, decorating trees which date back as far as Germany in the Middle Ages, and advent calendars which were also invented in Germany.
A Look at Our Corporate Christmas Hampers
If you’re struggling to find a gift for a friend or loved one this Christmas then look no further. Here at Miss Macaroon we’ve got you covered. We have a plethora of Christmas hampers that will fulfil your shopping list.
All of the macaroons here at Miss Macaroon, are made by the hands of Kickstart students and MacsMAD trainees who have been given a second chance at finding and securing a job. Not all students who have finished the MacsMAD course come to work here at Miss Macaroon. However, we ensure the students receive appropriate transferable skills that will allow them to succeed elsewhere.
In our Christmas hampers, there’s more to just delicious handmade macaroons. Our hampers vary, but most of them will contain alcoholic beverages (such as beer, sparkling wine, gin, or prosecco), a bundle of snacks such as crisps, and one of our smooth-scented candles.

How Your Purchase Can Create A Positive Impact
Miss Macaroon is a non-profit organisation where all proceeds go back into the business and will fund the next wave of MacsMAD students, who’ll walk through our doors for a better chance at securing a job.
The students will spend the first four weeks (of their seven-week course) upstairs, where they will learn about the fundamentals of working in a kitchen, and gain a Level 2 qualification in Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering. They will also spend two days of the first four weeks in the Miss Macaroon store in Resorts World. The course will then conclude with three week’s worth of training in the kitchen. The course is only available to people who are aged between 18 and 35 who have been out of work for a long time.
Our students are given quality training to develop transferable skills that’ll boost their chances of getting a job when they finish the course. Miss Macaroon are in close communication with companies which also help young people get into work who may not want to go into the catering or baking sectors. Because we’re not a profiting organisation, we rely heavily on donations from generous people who are equally supportive of helping young people get back into work.
