Christmas Party Ideas: Macaron Painting
Share
Here at Miss Macaroon, we are passionate about macarons. We make, bake, and even enjoy every type of macaron. However, decorating the macarons is when we have the most fun. It can be challenging to paint a macaron, depending on what you’re trying to paint.
The surface area of a macaron isn’t very vast, measuring only around 2 inches across, making it challenging to paint in detail. However, not everyone needs to be an artist to participate in our macaron painting experience. Why not join us and have a macaron painting and mulled wine or Prosecco at our Great Western Arcade store? It’s perfect for everyone in the family, from children to adults. Post about your experience on Yuup.
What do you paint macaroons with?
Here at Miss Macaroon, we decorate our macarons, which come in a range of colours, with edible paint and pens. To paint your macaron, you would be given a small palette of colours and edible ink pens if you were to join us for a macaron painting and prosecco event.
How do you make macaron colours?
There are numerous colours for macarons. All macaron colours, from purple to green, are achieved using premium gel food colouring. We use this food colouring because it preserves the batter’s consistency and because a little bit of the gel food colouring goes a long way. The best technique to incorporate food colouring into your batter is with a toothpick because you can actually gauge how much to add before doing so.
What is the best colouring for macarons?
Cream Tonka is the ideal colour to use while painting macarons since it will make the colours pop against the light background. However, red, orange, yellow, green, and blue are the greatest colours to use when decorating macarons.
How long do painted macarons take to dry?
After painting your macaron, place it on a drying rack to finish drying. It takes around 15 minutes to check to see if your macaron is dry to the touch. It’s entirely up to you whether you bag them after they’ve dried and take them home or just eat them at the store.
Can you put an edible image on a macaron?
At Miss Macaroon, we design and produce delectable logos and images that everybody may enjoy. We begin by considering what you have asked us to put on the macaron. Anything can be illustrated on a macaron, from images of people to text and brands. We utilise edible paper and edible ink, so everything is safe to eat. To attach the logo print to the macaron we use sugar syrup.
