Emily is our newest recruit at Miss Macaroon joining us in February 2020 after her successful completion of the Macaroons that Make a Difference training course. Emily impressed CEO and founder Rosie and Pastry Chef Jenny with her kitchen skills and her determination to get back into work after struggling from mental health issues.
Emily developed her passion for food early on in her life and despite struggling from various setbacks throughout her life, she has always been determined to find her way back to her love for food which is what the Miss Macaroon course bought her. Emily is not only a pro at macaroon matching and filling, she also makes gorgeous cakes and has aspirations to set up her own cake making business. She baked and decorated her brother’s wedding cake and is currently undertaking a business qualification at Miss Macaroon.
