And we’re open!
Three great, successful launch days later and we have finally opened our doors to the public! We’re so proud of finally opening a store after 5 years. Rosie debuted our brilliant new Mx. Macaroon service and offered complimentary Prosecco and activities to our invitees. It was the perfect way of kicking off celebrations for our brand new Macaroon and Prosecco bar.
Guests over the three night event included bloggers, journalists, the press and even family and friends. Also attending were the winners from our recent social media competition. Launch invitees were the very first guests to step into our store. They marvelled at the Christmas macaron towers display and bright colours of the decor.
Our new Mx. Macaroon service was a huge hit with our guests. Our two mixing decks allowed customers to curate their very own macaron creations. Guests picked a flavoured macaron shell and a ganache from a selection of flavours. Then a topping and fruit syrup on top. All the selections are completely gluten free.
On our third launch night, we set up a creative activity for our guests. We gave them each a blank macaron, a paintbrush and gold paint. We asked them to make their very own personalised macaron. Everyone enjoyed getting arty and painted some great designs.
Up until now, we served our customers through our website and ‘pop up shops’ at events. Opening our shop finally allows our company to interact with new people. We’re now able to spread the word of our social enterprise further afield. Profits from our new macaron and Prosecco bar will go towards expanding our ‘Macaroons Make a Difference’ course. This allows us to help more of the disadvantaged youth to gain skills and experience for future jobs.
