Miss Macaroon‘s Managing Director Rosie Ginday will be speaking at Quilter Cheviot’s annual charity seminar at Opus Restaurant, Birmingham on 19 June 2018.
Aimed at community interest companies, charities, professionals and trustees, the seminar will focus on the ever changing environment for charities, particularly around governance, the third sector, investment and technology.
Quilter Cheviot is one of the UK’s largest discretionary investment management firms. They offer investment solutions and help private clients, financial advisers, charities and professional advisers.
Mark Stone, Head of Charities and Investment Manager at Quilter Cheviot’s Birmingham office said, “Some of the biggest issues facing charities include the increasingly adverse publicity towards the sector, the level of responsibility placed on trustees who perform their role on an entirely voluntary basis and a regulator who is increasingly committed to making sure charities govern themselves properly.”
Rosie will speaking at the event, among other speakers from the sector. She will explain how she provides employment and training programmes aimed at youngsters who may have slipped through the education system, are care leavers or find themselves homeless.
Also speaking at the event will be Andrew O’Brien, Director of Policy & Engagement at Charity Finance Group, Catherine Rustomji, Partner & Head of Charities at Browne Jacobson and Tom Haydon, Investment Manager at Quilter Cheviot.
