The Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) launches on Thursday 22nd February with speakers and panel members, including Miss Macaroon, British Business Bank and Local Enterprise Partnerships. Sajid Javid MP, Communities and Local Government Secretary and Midlands Engine Ministerial Champion said, “We are delighted to see the opportunities this fund represents.
“We strongly believe that, given the right financial support, small businesses have the potential and the ability to transform the Midlands’ economy.”
The Midlands Engine Investment Fund, supported by the European Regional Development Fund, provides over £250m to small and medium businesses. MEIF is a collaboration between British Business Bank and ten Local Enterprise Partnerships in the Midlands.
Miss Macaroon is a recipient of the Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG), which was used to launch our Great Western Arcade store. Speakers include Patrick Magee (British Business Bank) and Nick Pulley (Chair of the MEIF Strategic Oversight Board).
Rosie Ginday, Managing Director of Miss Macaroon, is also on the panel at the launch event. The launch will be accompanied by a report from ITV News Central, which will feature Miss Macaroon.
