As a predominantly female run organisation, providing leadership opportunities to women, Miss Macaroon places huge emphasis on celebrating International Women’s Day. We are proud to be a business run and founded by a female entrepreneur.
This year saw a number of successful collaborations with organisations with powerful females at their core. We were invited along to leading law firm Freeths high tea and networking event for women in business. We catered for the event as well by providing them with our premium gluten free french macaroons. They chose to have logo printed macaroons to create some beautiful bespoke branded gifts for their guests. It was an amazing event encouraging hugely inspirational women to get together and celebrate their success.
Our managing director Rosie Ginday MBE is the keynote speaker at international law firm Pinsent and Masons’ Inspiring Young Girls Conference. The event is an inspirational day for 40 girls from years ten and eleven, female career progression is a key issue for the legal profession and the day aims to be committed to addressing this.
Rosie is a hugely inspirational woman herself, being a social entrepreneur she strives to use her skills and passion to help others by reinvesting 100% of the profits of Miss Macaroon back into providing training and jobs for long term unemployed people in Birmingham. She is passionate about inspiring people from all walks of life to become social change makers like herself and has spoken at a number of other events this year including the Coutts entrepreneur series, the combined authorities leadership commission event with mayor of the west midlands Andy Street CBE and the British Academy of Management conference.
International women’s day was hugely inspirational and eye opening for us this year and we were very honoured to able to provide some incredible companies with not only our delicious hand-made macaroons, (which are available to request a quote and buy and here: https://missmacaroon.co.uk/) but also a chance to impart some of Rosie’s experiences as a female entrepreneur.
