Interview with Blow LTD

Described by some as the “Uber for beauty”, Blow offers a range of mobile beauty services, from blow dries (hence the company’s namesake), to lash insertions and massages. App users can enjoy these services in the comfort of their home or at the office. This exciting concept truly offers the flexibility and freedom to both its clients and beauticians. Beca told us how Blow were really keen to work with Miss Macaroon; “We really want to support local businesses and entrepreneurs, as well as people who want to follow their dream.” Many of the stylists enjoy working as freelancers for Blow, such as hair-styling expert Trisha who worked on some amazing french plaits during our last beauty evening. Blow’s model allows them to be flexible, in control of their own time and essentially be their own boss. As a small business ourselves, we truly support and believe in this approach.

For those that missed out on Blow’s launch night, fortunately we’ll be working together regularly in the future. Our next beauty evening, the Summer Beauty Blowout, will be taking place in-store on Friday 14th July. Expect there to be ice cream macaroons, prosecco flowing all night, and free makeovers and up-do’s ready for the weekend! We’ll also be showing makeup tutorials so you can learn how to recreate these looks at home.
