Jennifer, known by all as Jenny is our Pastry Chef at Miss Macaroon. Jenny joined the team almost three years ago after moving back to her hometown of Birmingham after a six year stint in Northern Ireland working in a prestigious hotel.
Jenny trained at University College Birmingham and it was here that she developed her passion for food and became obsessed with the intricacies of patisserie.
Jenny is now not only Pastry Chef, but she is also in training to become more involved with the Macaroons that Make A Difference course trainees who come into the kitchen. At present Jenny oversees and coaches the trainees how to work in a kitchen environment. She helps by showing them what to expect when it comes to the real thing. Jenny is currently undertaking her assessors course which will allow her to assess the trainees on their BTEC qualifications.
